Deacon Board

Mission Statement
We study and obey God's Word and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ honoring God through our service, actions and leadership.

Vision Statement
We are committed to being servants of God. We willingly fulfill the duties of a Deacon. We lead as an example that others may follow. We diligently seek to grow in Christ. We recognize and meet the needs of our brothers.

3 Goals
    1.  To become more visible and educate RBC about the role of a Deacon through an entertaining     gathering for men each quarter. (i.e. June, September and December)

    2.  Train every Deacon to be able to give the Plan of Salvation.

    3.  Train each Deacon to understand the Deacon's role and to perform that role consistently.

Long Term Goals
    1.  Identify a Deacon to mentor to take over as Chairman at a future date.
    2.  Identify an organization or group to sponsor.

    3.  Train every Deacon to be consistent in attending Worship Service, Bible Study and Sunday School.

Purpose
To be faithful committed servants to God and our church.

Who Should Be Involved in This Ministry
Men called by God to serve.

Meeting Time
4th Sunday of each month

Goal
Help our church families who need help, visit the sick and shut-in. Go out to our community and talk to troubled youth and adults and help them turn their lives around.
